The world doesn't just show up for us like a movie, even if we don't recognize the circularity process of perception, we (actively) experience every moment. Our perception shapes the way we experience the world around us and even our self – it is the foundation of consciousness. Thus, how we perceive things affects the way we see them. If we configure the way we interact with things – can we thereby shape the way we preside, perceive and experience our self?

Embodied decisions

Body and mind are connected – how the senses of the body perceive sounds, images or a touch, has an impact on our emotions and reactions to it. On the other hand, do we experience strong emotional reactions like fear, love and sorrow physically. Also, if we think about emotions like uneasiness, strain or contentment, which are not so specific, they provoke a physical experience. When we design a working chair we are thinking about ergonomics of the body, but what if we focus on the ergonomics of the brain?

When Perception is a dynamic exchange with the world around us. How can daily interactions with objects shape our point of view on ordinary things? (and does perceiving perception have an influence on our beliefs?) In which way does the physical experience of a situation then create an inner perspective of it?
How can we create interactions that make the perception processes itself senseable? How can things create a physically – emotional – experience?

How can we create interactions that make the perception processes it self tangible? How can things create an physically-emotional-experience?
