Expert Intervews
UTA BRANDES – Design-Expert, -theorist and -author. Till 2015 Professor for gender and design and designreserch at International School of Design, Köln.
SIEGFRIED MASER – has bin a german Philosoph, Mathematiker und Physiker. He worked as a professor for experimental environmental design at the University of Ulm, communication theory at the University of Braunschweig and designtheorie at the University of Wuppertal.
RONEN KADUSHIN – is an designer and design educator. He taught furniture design and design creativity courses at leading Israeli and European design academies since 1993. Kadushin developed the Open Design concept, where the designs of his products can be downloaded, copied, modified and produced, much as in Open Source software.
PROF. DR. RAINER FUNKE – Design theorist and Professor at University for Applied Science Potsdam, permanently deals with questions concerning the “Dingverhältnis”.

Award and Exhibition
How can objects accompany, escape, encourage dreams or make someone laugh? We all have a special relationship to things we establish surround ourselves with. Regarding the massive production and casual consumption, this gets in oblivion very often. Although, from the moment we have them, they save and tell stories about their owner and thus, they show so much more than only color, form, and function.
